Walk & Wade Fly Fishing

The upper Grand River flowing through Fergus is one of Eastern North America’s premiere Brown Trout rivers. On the best days it is an amazing fishery and on other days it can be perplexing and difficult. While the majority of fish are in the 12” to 14” range, every year a fair number of fish from 20” to 26” are caught. The Brown Trout season goes from the last Saturday in April through to the last day of September, however the best fishing is from May though the middle of July.

Half Day (4 hrs.)

$200 for 1 angler - $100 for additional angler.

Full Day (7 hrs.)

$300 for 1 angler - $125 for additional angler.

Dry Fly Fishing on the Grand River

Drift Boat Fly Fishing

Drift boat fishing in Southern Ontario offers the angler some exceptional opportunities. A drift boat lets you cover more water, gets you into places and fish that are not accessible any other way. This is extremely important to the Steelhead and Salmon fly fishers. These anadromous fish are on the move and where they were yesterday may not be where they are today.   A drift boat also offers exciting challenges for Bass, Muskie and Pike.  Steelhead - early spring and late fall. Salmon - fall. Bass - summer and fall. Pike & Muskie - late spring thru fall.

All Drifts are Full Day

$450 for 1 angler

$500 for 2

All drifts include lunch.
